Change DNS settings on MacOn your Mac, use DNS network settings to enter DNS servers and search domains. Learn how to enter DNS servers and search domains.
To change these settings, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Network in the sidebar, click a network service, click Details, then click DNS. (You may need to scroll down.)

DNS Servers
List of DNS servers.
Add a DNS server to the list: Click at the bottom of the DNS servers list, then enter an IPv4 or IPv6 address.
Remove a DNS server from the list: Select a server in the list, then click at the bottom of the DNS servers list.
Search Domains
List of search domains.
Add a search domain to the list: Click at the bottom of the search domains list, then enter the domain name.
Remove a search domain from the list: Select a domain name in the list, then click at the bottom of the search domains list.
